Losing the extra belly fat.?
I gave birth to my son two years ago, I have gained about 30 pounds while pregnant. I started at 115 pounds with a stomach very flat. I am a very athletic play soccer, tennis, running every day whatever. After I had my son, my torso stretched a bit. I managed to lose 25 pounds in three months. I am very grateful for that … but I had trouble dealing with my belly. It seems very "loose" and saggy at times. Are there any kind of exercises that help women who have given birth and it is this type of buffer zone problem? I''d really like to have my old stomach back and I have tried Pilates, abs, and I have seen great improvements in this area. I know some will say I''m "thin" and what not, but this is a goal I would love to achieve for myself. I''m still very athletic, but I never had problems waist. Thanks to anyone that helps =)
Everyone has a point problem. It may be around the stomach, thighs, arms or chest. No matter where your bad point is that the solution is exactly the same. You need to eat less and exercise more. The reason why there is only one solution to all these problems is that it is impossible to tell your body to burn excess fat. When you eat too many calories, your body stores excess energy as fat in different areas around the body. To lose this fat, you need to create a deficit calories (eat less than you burn) to force your body to start burning fat for energy. There is absolutely no way to control your body where will find this extra fat. The larger your calorie deficit (a bigger calorie deficit means a bigger difference between what you eat and what you burn) the faster your body will burn excess fat faster than the body fat percentage begins to decrease. You can increase your calorie deficit by reducing your daily intake and exercising more. Sit ups will do nothing to target the fat around your abs just like squats will do nothing objective of the fat around the thighs.
